summer time!

Hey everyone! just checking with all of our friends and fans to let you know how we are doing these days

Since getting back from tour we have been quite busy! Although it was planned to begin recording the new record, we have decided to hold off for a minute and focus on playing shows and raising our funds! Our last two shows in the city in the last couple of weeks were very successful and we plan to continue playing in NYC and Brooklyn much more. We will be playing upstate on June 23rd at the Rondout Lounge in Kingston, NY where Green Door magazine will be covering us for a spread in their next issue. The following day we will be playing at our friend John’s solstice party! come rock with us!

Jed and his brother Brock have recently opened a new business, Kosiner Brother Dogs. They sell organic hot dogs with a number of deliciously bad ass homemade toppings! Go grab a dog any day at Water St. Market. so good.  Some more trips are being planned as well… Adir will be playing a couple of solo shows this summer far from NY in such places as Oregon and Israel.. so if your around come hang out!

We will continue to rock and hope to see you all as soon as possible.

-best, Fairweather Friends

A lot to fill you in about! southern comfort and midwestern shipwrecks…

Our wonderful friends! What an adventure we have been having. Firstly, we would like to thank the many amazing people that made our stay in Asheville, NC truly epic. Thanks to Uncle Sidney for a place to crash; to pro-skater Clyde Singleton for loving our tunes, getting us drunk and buying a bunch of merch; to the wild n crazy kids (Lane, Eli, Sebastian, Shalamar and more) at Warehouse #10 for an amazing show, home-brew, and some other special and fun accouterments that got us silly; and finally to Zach and Luke at Craggie Brewing Co. for letting us throw an awesome show with Nelsonvillains at their brewery. We partied, we laughed and honestly, kind of want to move there.

Nelsonvillains joined us starting in Asheville and we made our way to Knoxville, TN where we met up with Cornbred. From there we all made our way to Little Rock, Arkansas where we played a wicked house show at Happy Fuckers Unite.

After leaving AK, shit really hit the fan. Due to a series of mechanical misfortunes, and a slight numbskull attitude on our part, the engine on our wonderful and beloved ‘Big Red’ blew up and died, completely and immediately. After being stranded in the middle of nowhere Missouri for many hours, we got towed to Tulsa, Oklahoma where Geoff’s family lives for a place to eat and crash. With broken hearts and frazzled brains we scrapped the van today for about 1/8 of what we put into it. Wed like to think there is a reason for all of this, and that this happens to the best of us.. but since we cannot afford to run into any more trouble, be sure to donate to the kickstarter we will be putting up this May!

So, my friends… tomorrow we head north in a rental mini-van. No more glamour, no more money… just straight fuckin rock n’ roll. So watch out Omaha, Des Moines, Milwaukee, Chicago, Cleveland, Akron and Binghamton… you’ve got four seriously roughed up men with big balls and nothing to lose coming your way.

RVA IS AWSM

We had an awesome day in Richmond, Virginia. Got some sun and some hiking in, finally moving our legs after a long ride. We met up with Uncle Eric and Maxine who fed us our first real meal out. Thank you Uncle Eric! Special thanks to the friends at The Yerb! for giving us a warm welcome. It was a really fun show!
